V7 Stone lowered. I finally got around to lowering my V7 Stone today by pushing the forks up through the clamps. I measured before starting and noted that there was a height variation left to right of about 0.5 mm using a digital caliper/depth guage. When I did the adjustment the best I could get was a variation of 0.35mm.
The dual preload-adjustable Kayaba shocks are new, seat height has been reduced to 27.2 inches (down from 31.4 inches) and new aluminum footpegs are lower and farther forward. 2017 Moto Guzzi
Re: V7 ergos for someone 6 foot 3. I'm 6 foot 1" and about 230 pounds. 33 to 34 inch inseam. By my lights, my '13 V7 Stone fits me perfectly. I find it vastly more comfortable for long trips than my prior Yamaha FJR or BMW 1200 GS.
